Our Mental Healthcare Intervention Process

We have come up with a two-step structured and well thought out process of how to not only ensure professional provision of the services but also create a safe and comfortable environment through which the service will be provided.

This is highlighted below

STEP I: SITUATION ANALYSIS

1. CALL CENTRE SERVICES

We will personally engage patients to establish their mental health status. This will be done through the administration of a mental wellness assessment tool. The tool has capacity to rate the caller within the mental health continuum.
This will help the patients understand their individual situation and needs, and encourage them to seek assistance if the situation demands it.

Further to this and as part of the situation analysis, we will conduct two-day sensitization workshops every quarter at the deanery level. These will be interactive sessions, where the individuals will be facilitated to discuss various issues that affect their mental health, and to come up with concrete and practical resolutions.

STEP II: TREATMENT

Personalized treatment is will be availed at two levels:

1. CALL CENTRE SERVICES

Heri will provide access to the 24-hour call center that is manned by qualified clinical psychotherapists. The call center will enable the individual to anonymously access the services at their comfort and convenience. This is key to the success of therapy. The information will remain strictly confidential, and the only data provided will be the location of the client and their age bracket.

2. IN-PERSON SERVICES

Heri Wellness will provide psychotherapists at our premises, and also will operate mental health clinics in the deaneries on specific request.

SERVICE MOBILISATION

Heri will mobilize the resources, and start a full operation within a week of getting approval and payment of the agreed upon fees.

COST OF SERVICE

24 Hour Call Centre manned by professional Psychotherapists and accessible free of charge to all priests and seminarians in the Archdiocese
2-day Mental Health and Wellness Workshops per Quarter
Professional Psychotherapy services at the deanery
Individual Psychotherapy sessions at our premises
